RYAN DAVIS

Born 1995, Boston, Massachusetts
Lives and works in Rockport, Massachusetts and New York City, NY

Ryan Davis grew up in a coastal town in Massachusetts. He was exposed to a community driven by working class fishermen and traditional seascape artists. He has had the opportunity to be both an artist and a lobsterman; this has molded his work. 

Ryan Davis is known primarily for his oil paintings and charcoal drawings that focus on variety of subject matter including New England maritime seascapes to Pop-Art. He has shown his work nationally in New York and Massachusetts and internationally in Copenhagen, Denmark and Cortona, Italy.

Davis received his BA in Art and-Art History and Business in the Liberal Arts from St. Lawrence University in 2018. Additionally, he received his Master Degree from the New York Academy of Art in 2022. He currently lives and works in Rockport, Massachusetts and New York City.
