ADAM MILLER

Born 1979 in Oregon, USA
Lives and works in Brooklyn, New York

Born in Oregon in 1979 Adam Miller is known for large-scale, multi-figure paintings dealing with myth, politics and human drama. His painting ventures into the scale and complexity of European Mannerism while updating the subjects to tell stories of contemporary life. He studied in Florence Italy with Michael John Angel and in New York with Nelson Shanks. Miller has exhibited at The Musee national des Beaux-arts du Quebec, The McCord Museum, The Mesa Contemporary Museum.
