Gallery Poulsen at Art Herning 2025

The year starts as every year with Denmark’s original Art Fair: Art Herning. Gallery Poulsen was founded in Herning 22 years ago and once again we are proud to be back in one of the art centers in the West of Denmark. The annual Art Fair is a climax for the Danish art world, but also for the many international artists, that we represent in Gallery Poulsen.

Herning and Mid-Jutland are not just the place of origin for Gallery Poulsen but for the growth and development of several Danish art icons such as Carl-Henning Pedersen og Asger Jorn. Herning has been historically progressive when investing in new and at times provoking art. Ingvar Cronhammar’s sculpture Elia, Heart – Herning Museum of Contemporary Art, and Carl-Henning Pedersen and Else Alfelt Museums are all great examples of exactly that.

For the 2025th edition Gallery Poulsen is bringing new works from more than 20 international artists, including several artists showing first time at Art Herning. That means that we will rearrange the exhibition continually during the art fair to make space for the entire amount of great works. Our booth will present an exceptional insight into what this year will bring in the coming shows in Gallery Poulsen.

The tradition of art in Herning is unique and the art fair couldn’t be placed in a better location. Art Herning is important for gallery Poulsen and for our collective of artists, as the art fair represents both the intimate and significant as well as the new and innovative. Our artists have created more than 50 new works for this art fair, which are all in one way or another reflecting the state of the world that we currently live in. We promise it will be spectacular.

We are looking forward to meeting our collectors, business liaisons, and friends of the gallery from near and afar.

We have received a limited number of free tickets to the fair. Send us an email to [email protected] if you want to visit us at stand no. H142 – same position as last year.
