Gallery Poulsen’s excellent team of artists has blasted through the spring season with one dazzling exhibition after the other. Mu Pan ripped open the year with his bestial world of terrifying battlefields, followed by Angela Gram’s first solo show, a hyper realistic deconstructed animal kingdom. True to tradition, we spent Armory Week in New York at VOLTA NY, where the grandest masterpiece in our solo show by Jean-Pierre Roy was secured a place in the collection of Leonardo DiCaprio. We have since been mesmerized by both Nadia Plesner's politically charged installations and Adam Stennett's dystopian water paintings.
But that was only the first half-time!
We have plenty more in store for you, starting with our spectacular annual summer show ”Once Upon a Time in America”, where we present a brand new string of masterpieces by Angela Gram, Christian Rex van Minnen, Eric White, Jean-Pierre Roy, John Jacobsmeyer, Matt Hansel, Monica Cook, Mu Pan, Nicola Verlato, Rainer Hosch, Taylor Schultek as well as 4 new artists that we personally handpicked to compliment our group - Alison Blickle, Colin Chillag, Bernado Siciliano and Jud Bergeron.
Here is a little sneakpeek of what we have in store for you from our artists who are locked away in their respective studios, painting in breakneck speed to finish in time for the opening on August 18.
So, even though the gallery might be closed for the summer, keep a firm eye on our social media channels, where we will keep you posted directly from their studios!
